1. Barrier protection:

Aluminum (Al) forms a very dense and stable layer of aluminum oxide (Al ₂ O3) film on the coating surface, which can effectively block the invasion of water vapor and oxygen, like a sturdy "shield", greatly slowing down the contact between corrosive media and internal metals.
2. Sacrificial anode protection:

Zinc (Zn) and magnesium (Mg) provide strong "sacrificial anode" protection. Especially with the addition of magnesium (Mg), its chemical activity is higher than that of zinc, and it can provide protective current more preferentially and effectively.
3. Self repairing:

Corrosion products of magnesium (such as magnesium hydroxide Mg (OH) ₂) will cover the incision and cross-section, filling the corrosion channel and forming a protective barrier, greatly slowing down the subsequent corrosion rate. This is its magical edge self repairing ability.
4.Result:

Its corrosion resistance (especially its resistance to red rust) is usually 2-4 times or even higher than that of pure zinc coatings of the same coating weight. This means that under the same corrosive environment, thinner coatings can be used to achieve longer service life or significantly extend the maintenance cycle of components such as roofs and brackets.
